My name is Zobia Khan and I’m an industrial designer currently based in New York, USA.
Over the past few years I have studied and trained under professional designers at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. It is through that very training that I hope to achieve the goal of working to better communities through compassion and mindful innovation.
I believe that both our subtle and major interactions with products - even in the most mundane contexts - have the power to influence and transform our outlooks on life. This thought drives my passion for detail and experimentation. Coming from a fine art background, I worked extensively with symbolism and surreal expression which has given me a more organic perspective on projects over the years.
